SUMMARY: focused primarily along the Southshore as the storms move quickly eastward. The primary concern remains the strong winds, with the possibility of embedded tornadoes within the bow echo. Flash flood warnings are also in effect for the metro area due to intense rainfall rates. Rotation has been observed in certain areas, leading to tornado warnings that have since been cancelled as the rotation moves away from populated areas towards Lake Pontchartrain. The storms are expected to clear out by early morning hours, with the Northshore experiencing less severe weather compared to the Southshore. Water spouts may develop over Lake Pontchartrain as the storms move eastward.
