Three men arrested during traffic stop after Mangham police discover weapons and marijuana | KTVE

SUMMARY: On August 26, 2023, a Mangham police officer pulled over a Hyundai Accent with no tags and detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver, Montrieze Sandidge, claimed the car belonged to his mother. Another passenger, Jessie Wiley, admitted to having a firearm and marijuana in his possession. Wiley was found to have a stolen Glock 22 40 cal in his pants, and a search of the vehicle uncovered two more firearms, one of which was reported stolen. Taymond Carter, a convicted felon, was also in the car. All three suspects were charged with Possession of Stolen Firearm.

Born in Lake Charles on February 12, 1941, and a 1959 LaGrange High School graduate, Judy was a majorette leader, part of the Homecoming Court, and recognized for her fashion sense. She married Jim McInnis, and after his law studies in New Orleans, they returned to Lake Charles, where Judy joined The Junior League and worked as a tax preparer. An adventurer and hostess, she enjoyed travel, games, and community. Judy is survived by her daughter, siblings, and granddaughters; a memorial service is set for February 24. Donations can be made to a chosen charity.
