SUMMARY: The content is a weather forecast sponsored by Homeland Bank. The meteorologist, Chase Ward, warns that a line of rain and thunderstorms is moving into sections of Arkham. He advises listeners to grab an umbrella and rain jacket, as rain is expected throughout the day. The radar shows heavy rain along the i49 corridor and lightning in Central Louisiana. More storms are popping up in Southern Arkansas. The forecast calls for temperatures in the upper 70s, with possible highs in the 80s. The severe threat is low, but excessive rainfall and localized flash flooding are possible. The forecast indicates ongoing rain and thunderstorms through the weekend. A flood watch is in effect, and people are advised to avoid flooded roads.

A line of t-storms is pushing into western sections of Louisiana this morning ahead of a dry line. This system is expected to push further east sparking up widespread rain and t-storms along and south of I-20. Gusty winds are possible, but the main concern is localized flooding. 1-3 inches of additional rainfall is possible, and many low lying areas and spots with poor drainage are at the greatest risk of flooding. The frontal boundary will stall just to our north in Arkansas and prolong more chances of rain through tomorrow. Depending on the placement of the front will determine how much more rain we could see on Friday. The unsettled pattern continues through the weekend with more chances of patchy showers and t-storms. Temperatures will continue to warm up as we push into the upper 80's and some places could hit lower 90's later next week.
