SUMMARY: The forecast for the next few days predicts warm and dry conditions, with lower humidity and fire weather warnings due to the ongoing drought. Winds will be from the north, bringing drier air to the region. A low-pressure system forming to the south will increase humidity and rain chances, potentially bringing temperatures back to the upper 90s next week. Water vapor imagery shows a weak closed low in the vicinity of LCH, with cirrus and alto cumulus clouds drifting southwest along the northern flank of the low and trough over certain areas.

Warm and dry conditions will continue to close out the work week. With lower humidity, fire weather warnings will be in effect again today. Winds will be out of the north and will continue to filter drier air into the region and add to the current fire threat with gusts around 15 mph combined with the ongoing drought conditions. A cut off low pressure system will form to our south and move northward increasing humidity and rain chances through the weekend and into the start of next week. Temperatures will also be climbing next week and could be back to the upper 90's but models have not hinted a return to triple digits at least for now.

Expect scattered showers and storms later today, with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Although not as hot, rising humidity will make it feel muggy. This trend is expected to continue throughout the upcoming work week as tropical moisture pushes towards the central Gulf Coast around a high-pressure system.

Despite the incident, Clark maintained composure, scoring 23 points and leading her Indiana Fever team to victory. Reese, who finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds, criticized the officiating after the game. This match was a sequel to another intense encounter two weeks prior where Clark was similarly fouled.
