Inflation is still climbing sharply in these U.S. cities | KTVE
SUMMARY: Residents in certain cities in the United States are experiencing higher consumer prices compared to the rest of the country, even as the national inflation rate levels off. According to a study by WalletHub, Honolulu and Miami have seen the steepest increases in consumer prices, while Detroit and Anchorage have seen prices cool the most. The US inflation rate settled at 3.5%, still above the Federal Reserve's target of 2%. Factors contributing to the rising prices include residual supply chain issues and a strong economy pressuring wages and providing opportunities for businesses to raise prices.
