SUMMARY: Chief meteorologist Chris Franklin reports that tropical moisture is bringing significant rainfall to South Florida, though no organized systems are present. An “invest” near Charleston has a low chance of developing. While there's currently nothing in the Bay of Campeche, early next week might see development as a wave from the Eastern Pacific moves over Mexico into the Bay. Over the weekend, no significant weather events are expected, but a potential system could later decrease rain chances by diverting moisture away. Franklin notes a trend towards less rain and anticipates a few very hot days ahead.

WWL Louisiana Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says Invest 90L has a low-end chance of development. The lack of moisture could decrease our rain chances.
