Additionally, Highway 15 and Highway 900 will be improved later this year. The improvement for Highway 568 is expected to start in late Spring and be completed within a year if weather permits.

SUMMARY: The state is coming out of a significant drought, with only a few areas still experiencing moderate drought conditions. More rainfall is expected to erode those remaining drought areas. Cloud cover and fog are expected overnight, with the possibility of spotty showers and a cold front moving through on Friday. Temperatures will remain mild, and high pressure will bring mostly sunny skies for the weekend, with temperatures rebounding to the upper 70s and around 80 degrees by mid next week. Another front is expected to move through after that. Overall, the state is transitioning out of drought conditions and experiencing mild weather.

Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says it'll be mild and humid Thursday with mostly sunny skies for the rest of the week.
