SUMMARY: The organization Destination Zero Deaths has launched a new safety campaign called “Destination Zero Deaths” to promote safe roadway practices and reduce car crash fatalities. The campaign aims to educate drivers on the dangers and safety measures needed while driving. Partnering with the Regional Transportation Coalition, the organization hopes to bring awareness to factors that contribute to fatal car crashes, such as impaired driving and lack of occupant protection. The campaign is part of Louisiana's Strategic Highway Safety Plan and provides access to various resources and data to support safer transportation. While completely eliminating car crash deaths may not be realistic, reducing them significantly is a top priority.
