SUMMARY: Multiple wildfires are currently burning in Louisiana, with the largest one ever recorded in the state. The Tiger Island Fire in Beauregard Parish has doubled in size, covering about 33,000 acres. The State Fire Marshall is seeking new ways to spread awareness about the state's burn ban and is asking those with digital message boards to add an alert instructing people to not burn anything. While outdoor cooking using grills is allowed, starting a fire that requires the fire department's response will result in a significant fine.
