SUMMARY: The upcoming weather forecast shows upper 90s temperatures, primarily due to upper ridging. Monitoring two tropical areas: one wave currently overland in Mexico may bring rain to parts of Mexico and southern Texas, resembling Alberto's path, and Invest 92, likely moving towards Florida by Saturday, with a 50% chance of organizing into a named storm but posing no threat to the Gulf of Mexico. Winds have subsided inland, and coastal flood advisories are in effect until tomorrow evening. The weekend looks mostly clear with rising temperatures, but rain chances may increase by the end of next week due to an upper trough.

Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says there's a light chance for rain on Friday and expect a hot weekend. Rain chances return next week.
