SUMMARY: A 12-year-old student was arrested after allegedly bringing a fake gun to school to threaten two other students. The student had a verbal argument with the two boys prior to the incident and then bragged about having a pistol on social media. The police chief emphasized the seriousness of the threat, stating that even though it was a fake gun, the danger is still present. The issue of inadequate security in rural schools was highlighted, as the school did not have a police officer on standby due to lack of funding. The chief called for government assistance in ensuring the safety of children in schools. The student could potentially face up to 2 years in a juvenile detention center.
