SUMMARY: In a game between Kinder and Welsh, Kinder took the lead with a score of 19-16. Ben Fontenot of Kinder then scored to make it 26-16. Welsh quarterback Jonavon Begnaud responded with a touchdown, but it wasn't enough as the Kinder Yellow Jackets kept their foot on the gas and beat out the Welsh Greyhounds with a final score of 46-28. Kinder will now move on to play in Lake Charles.

It's the first Friday night of the high school football season.
