Suspect sought in Calcasieu burglaries investigation arrested

SUMMARY: An update on a story from yesterday involves the arrest of one of the suspects in a string of burglaries in Calcasieu Parish. Deion Ben, 29 years old, has been taken to the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with simple burglary and criminal damage to property. Officials are still searching for another suspect, 39-year-old Ronrika Ben. Anyone with information on Ronrika Ben's whereabouts is urged to contact the sheriff's department.

Another suspect, believed to be connected to a string of burglaries throughout Calcasieu Parish, has been arrested in Lafayette, according to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.

Almost six and a half million Americans suffer from some form of heart failure. This year, 960,000 new patients will be diagnosed with it. Medication helps many people, but when it doesn't, their only option is a heart transplant. But now, a new device is sparking life into failing hearts.
